“Jameer ‘o Bay” is the winner of the 2011 Jam Contest
The day has finally come!
‘Jameer ‘o Bay’ this is the title of the most voted online jam on Veenue.com Matteo Saronni, Vea Angelotti, Gianpiero De Salvia, Gabriele Tiezzi, 4 musicians from different parts of Italy met on Veenue.com
Dario Zampetti: G3: Joe, what do you feel when you share the stage with other top guitarists as Steve Vai, Steve Lukather and many others?
Joe Satriani: It’s great. I put together G3 mainly so I can be inspired as a guitarist, as a composer and a performer, and whether is Robert Fripp or Yngwie Malmsteen or Steven, John Petrucci, Paul Gilbert these are musicians that I admire greatly.
Dario Zampetti: Veenue.com is the first experiment of video collaboration for musicians. We want to let the people free to play with people that they’ve never met before or just to leave their tracks online and see what other musicians will be able to do with that. Do you think this can be a revolution in how the people experience music today?
Joe Satriani: It’s great that finally the technology has arrived where we can leave our actual audio, I remember maybe ten years back (or more, in the 90’s) there were attempts to have musicians jamming around the world via the internet, but that was on Midi and the sound was terrible.
We’re proud of taking part to the event promoted by the Topix internet consortium this Friday 17th at Computerspielemuseum (Karl-Marx-Allee 93a).
A great networking event from one of the leader in web support in Italy and Europe. Since 2010 we are supported as start up from their remarkable service and mentoring with great results.
few days ago I have shared some thoughts about the best equipment on the market to record your videos from mobile.
As you are all aware of, veenue is about to launch a mobile app to let you upload your existing videos to your veenue account. We care about video and audio quality, so why not to investigate all the affordable products on the market?
